Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and ExpertRecruiting Inc. (“CandidateGPT”, “we”, “us”) governing your access to and use of the CandidateGPT platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. By using CandidateGPT, you represent that you are 18 or older and able to enter into a binding contract.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the security of your login credentials, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

CandidateGPT offers paid subscription tiers and may offer one-time services such as coaching consultations. Pricing, features, and the specifics of each tier are presented at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and payments are processed by Stripe.

• You authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for your chosen plan.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account settings or the billing portal.
• The price in effect when you subscribe applies to your subscription as described at checkout.
• Refunds, cancellations, proration, and coaching-session terms are as described at purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Coaching sessions are billed per session and may be rescheduled up to twice, at least 24 hours before the session starts. Session fees are non-refundable.

All fees are charged in advance for the upcoming month of service. Because each payment covers a forward-looking period of service that has not yet been used, payments are non-refundable, and we do not issue partial, pro-rated, or retroactive refunds, except where required by law. If you do not wish to continue, you may turn off auto-renewal (pause your billing) at any time from Plan & billing in your account settings; your account and data remain and you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for. You may also delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.

The Service is offered on a Premium plan at $7 per month and a Premium+ plan at $29 per month. Coaching sessions are $149 per session, or $89 per session for Premium+ members. Fees are billed in advance and may change on renewal with prior notice. We may, at our discretion, offer promotional codes or discounts to selected users; any such promotion is subject to its own stated terms and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

You agree not to:

• use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes others’ rights;
• submit another person’s personal information without authorization;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent the security of the service;
• resell or misuse the service or its AI outputs in violation of these Terms.

CandidateGPT, including its software, design, and content, is owned by ExpertRecruiting Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your personal job search.

You retain ownership of the content you provide (such as your résumé). You grant us a license to process that content as needed to provide the service (including sending it to our AI and other sub-processors described in the Privacy Policy).

CandidateGPT uses AI to generate résumé feedback, content, and job-related suggestions. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. It is provided for informational purposes only and is not career, legal, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on or using it. CandidateGPT does not guarantee any particular job-search outcome, interview, or offer.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CandidateGPT and ExpertRecruiting Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Subject to applicable law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD $100.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

We may modify the service or these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms here and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes will be resolved as follows: The state and federal courts located in Texas will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute not resolved informally, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
